How To Change Filament Mid Print Cr10s

I only got CR-ten V2 yesterday. put information technology together and tried to print outset CR-ten upgrade. All motors work, and bed heats up fine as well as nozzle. But as soon as its heated upwardly it stops. Says "heating washed". When i go to menu to resume printing and dorsum to main info screen i meet another message.
"Err: Change Filament". Filament is new (white), the one that came with the printer. it is 1.76 mm PLA. i tried to print the file from SD that came with it. Aforementioned thing. Contacted guys from creality3dprintercr-10.cn - no luck and then far.
Whatever propose highly appreciated. Can i featherbed filament sensor ( it has 3 wired cable) by shorting information technology. I've never seen whatsoever filament sensor on previous videos on youtube.

All sorted, creality support has sent me motion-picture show and asked me to open up the box and cheque cables, judge what filament sensor cable was disconnected. I connected information technology and car is back to life, blueish light in the sensor, quick exam this morning showed that printer is moving after heating up bed and nozzle. did not accept time to practice the full impress, only sure will try this afternoon when i get back from piece of work. Closing post. Thanks guys for back up

My filament sensor cablevision was fine, even so, when I opened the sensor itself there was a cold solder. Took less than a minute to gear up by adding more solder, afterward the problem was constitute. It's 3 hex key screws to go far. Just be careful because the little metal switch extender fell out, easily put dorsum if it does, merely be conscientious not to lose it.

cr10S has two motors on z axis (both sides) and that filament sensor. dunno if there is whatsoever more than changes. non visually anyhow.

I suspect in that location is many changes at the firmware level. I believe the CR-10S firmware is at present locked and cannot exist flashed. One user on instructables provides a manner to unlock the firmware and reflash. Also checkout https://tiny-machines-3d.myshopify.com/
I think they sell an inductive sensor that requires flashing the firmware.

its a simple switch and then ya you tin cutting the wire and try to discover out what wires you demand to twist together to bipass it merely I retrieve y'all can just unplug it from the lath and that should work also

unpluged is the same as not connected and it is not working when non connected to any matter. i even tried to exit a piece of filament inside the sensor. the only thing i tin come up with is shorting two pins but which ones. i encounter red, blackness and xanthous. if i burn something and void garantee? :D i idea to get some info first
